Every year I set personal life goals, career goals, family goals, financial goals and travel goals. Before 2019 started, I did the same.
I try to be very specific and make sure all the goals are SMART. From experience I have learn to set SMART goals otherwise I would fail at reaching them. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound.
For 2019 one of my personal growth goals was reading 1-2 books a month, compare to other years when I would say 50 or 60 books a year...and that would not end up being the case. Assigning myself a goal of 1-2 books a month seemed very achievable. While working full-time, pursuing B.S. Business Administration degree, having a podcast, and organizing college events for FSCJ-SHRM Student Chapter I thought 1-2 books a month would be a good goal.
Below you can find the list of the books I read during 2019 and hopefully I can give you all some great suggestions for your 2020 book goals.
HAPPY READING!!!
